An Ode to my Tuff Box

Oh tuff box,

How strange I had never heard of you.

Writing notes bedside made me so blue,

But now I feel anew.

Oh tuff box,

You store all my pens and notebooks,

And protect my work from the rain.

Why are you only in my life now?

I’m the only one to blame.

Oh tuff box,

I can lean on you when I’m tired.

I’ll never go anywhere without you,

You are the partner in crime I’ve desired.

Oh tuff box,

You’ve changed my life.

If I could, I’d make you my wife.

But for now you’ll be my temporary companion,

Until you break and I have to hit up amazon.
